What started as a routine neighbor dispute at Findlay Manor Apartments took a surprising turn when police ended up arresting someone completely unexpected!
Officers responded to the complex after a woman requested assistance with an ongoing issue with her neighbor. But when they arrived, they didn’t arrest the caller—or the neighbor in question. Instead, police took Kellie Prince into custody on an open warrant from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear.
PRINCE’S TROUBLED HISTORY
Prince’s rap sheet is no small matter. She was originally sentenced to 4 to 6 years behind bars in December 2022, but she appealed the conviction and was released on bond while her case was being reviewed. Since then, her attorney has filed multiple extensions in the appeal.
But that’s not all—Prince was also charged with theft in 2023 and was given a second chance through a first offenders program. However, instead of turning over a new leaf, she skipped multiple court dates and racked up a bench warrant in January 2024.
A SURPRISE ENDING
Instead of resolving a neighborly dispute, police ended up making an unexpected arrest. Prince, who had been avoiding the legal system for months, is now back in custody and will have to answer for her long list of no-shows.
