Coroner Investigates Harding Avenue Death
Detectives and the coroner’s office responded to Harding Avenue after a tragedy early Monday morning.
Just before 3 am, medics and officers responded to a report of a woman who was not breathing.
Medics determined the woman was deceased and officers contacted the coroner’s office and called in detectives to investigate.
Motorcycles Seized After Bikers Harass Driver
A report of two motorcyclists harassing a driver resulted in cops seizing the men’s bikes on Saturday night.
Just before 8:30 pm, police responded to a report of two riders on “Ninja crotch rockets” harassing a truck driver. One rider was described as a heavy-set male wearing no helmet.
When police arrived on the scene, they issued citations to both drivers and impounded their motorcycles.
Shooter Threatens to “Finish the Job”
The man injured in a shooting last week contacted Portsmouth Police to report that the guy who shot him had made bail and was threatening him.
He said the man called him at home and said he was coming back to “finish the job.”
Police took information for a report.
Deputies Search For Man With a Gun on Dry Run Road
Officers responded to a report of a man with a loaded handgun making threats just after 7 pm. Witnesses reported the man heading towards State Forest Road 1, and deputies tried to bring ODNR officers in to help, but none were available.
Deputies caught up with the man near Turkey Creek Church. They secured the firearm and arranged for an ambulance to transport the man to the hospital.
