Scioto County Commissioners voted to cancel the order placed last year for 21 vehicles for the Sheriff’s Department.
“I’m not going to go into details,” Commissioner Bryan Davis said. “There is a disagreement on terms, and I will leave it at that.”
Commissioner Cathy Coleman clarified, saying, “I want to make sure everyone is aware that it’s not a disagreement with the Sheriff’s Department, but with the company that they are purchasing from.”

“Absolutely not,” Davis said, “As a matter of fact, the Sheriff was in agreement with us on this and sent us a letter asking us to cancel the lease. We are acting on that.”
Commissioner Davis said he would advise the public as new developments happened with the issue.
