EMS and officers responded to an alarming call at Portsmouth Skate Park on 4th Street just before 2: 30 p.m. A man called 9-1-1 to report that he believed his mother had just passed away.
Medics confirmed the individual was indeed deceased and contacted the Scioto County Coroner’s Office. The coroner released the deceased to a local funeral home.
Workers from the funeral home took possession of the deceased.
