Deputies Hold Burglar at Gunpoint in Lucasville
Just before 11 pm, a caller contacted 911 to report he’d spotted a man breaking into their Lucasville house using bolt cutters on her security camera.
The homeowner gave officers permission to check the property.
Deputies searched the area and caught up with the suspect. They held the man at gunpoint before taking him into custody. It turned out the suspect had an open warrant through the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies retrieved the homeowner’s stolen property and took it back to their home. They booked the man into the Scioto County Jail.
Restaurant Employee Reports District Manager After Altercation
An employee at a Lucasville restaurant contacted deputies to report an altercation with their district manager.
The employee said that he was at work, and went to get items for the grill when the district manager acted inappropriately. He said she grabbed his arm and yelled at him saying that he wasn’t doing his job.
He immediately left the restaurant and contacted officers. He did admit that he had also raised his voice during the incident and said he wanted to file a protection order.
Officers advised him of the process and suggested that he also file a complaint with the restaurant owner.
