Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies came to the aid of a couple caught out in the cold just after midnight.

The pair were walking on the side of Houston Hollow Long Road, attempting to get to a friend’s house next to Gham’s in Lucasville. They said the heat was out at their home, so they were going to friends. However, their car was stuck in their driveway, so they tried to make it on food before the bitter cold got the best of them.
Deputies gave them a ride to Lucasville and dropped them off at their friend’s home.
