Deputies launched a desperate search for a missing schoolboy after his mother said he vanished just after 8 a.m.
The mom told officers she was getting her younger kids ready for the day while the boy waited for the bus. However, he did not get on the bus, and she could not find him.
The mom said the child had not been reluctant to go to school and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Officers searched the area and checked the school and the school buses. They were relieved to discover that the child was safe at school and had gotten on the bus as planned.
Deputies contacted the family to tell them the good news.
