1 Desperate Search To Save Troubled Teen
First responders sprung into action just before 3 am, a worried family contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report a teen in danger.
They said the child had threatened self-harm and driven off. A friend of the child contacted the parents to say they had spoken to the teen and that she was now at a local church.
Deputies located the teen and sent for an ambulance. An officer gave a parent a ride to the hospital to join the child and the other parent.
2 Shoplifter Can’t Stay Away from Super-Quik
Just after 2 pm, employees of the Super Quik reported that a man who had previously been barred from the store came back in again. Police headed to Kent Street to attempt to locate the man with no luck.
Five hours later, the same man was back in the store stealing again. Officers found him at home this time, but determined he needed medical care and transported him to the hospital.
3 Fist Fight Breaks Out at Nursing Home
Just before 2:30 pm, officers received a report from a local nursing home involving an altercation between two female residents.
An elderly woman with cognitive issues went into another elderly woman’s room without permission. When the room’s resident told her to leave the room, the woman refused. The room’s resident punched her in the face.
Neither party was injured.
