Drive-By Shooting Reported on Lawson Street
Lawson Street neighbors contacted 911 at 4 am to report that someone in a dark-colored car shot off multiple rounds.
Several neighbors called in to report the incident, and one person actually witnessed the incident. One caller reported at least five shots, while another thought it was more like 7 or 8.
Another neighbor said they heard gravel flying, and the vehicle turned around in their driveway. Officers spoke to multiple witnesses and searched the area for bullet holes. They didn’t find any shooting evidence; however, two hours later, a neighbor reported the windows of their vehicle had been shot out.
Suspicious neighbors contacted deputies again at 9:30 am to report two suspicious men walking down the street looking into mailboxes. Officers spoke to the men but determined nothing suspicious was going on.
