A convicted drug trafficker who’s currently on parole was busted by PPD after a crash at 7th and Broadway just before 8 pm.

Officers caught up with Brian Collins in an alley and took him into custody on a theft charge. Officers also arrested Samantha Woodruff on a warrant for failure to appear.
Police had the vehicle towed and took both individuals to the Scioto County Jail. Collins has at least 25 previous arrests, including drug trafficking, multiple counts of parole violation, disorderly conduct, assault, robbery, contempt, drug possession, and burglary.
