Drunk Cowboy Picks Fights at Buffalo Wild Wings
An employee of Buffalo Wild Wings contacted police to report that a very intoxicated man in a cowboy hat tried to fight people in the bar and refused to leave the restaurant.
By the time officers arrived on the scene, the man had left the area.
Drunk Man Picks Fight on Campbell Avenue
Just after midnight, officers responded to a report of a drunk man causing a disturbance on Campbell Avenue.
The witness said the man was walking north on Campbell and had been yelling and fighting with someone inside a car.
Officers caught up with the intoxicated man at Jackson and Campbell Avenue. They transported him to his sister’s home.
Assault Reported on Dixon Mill Road
Just before 1 am, Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report that a man jumped out a vehicle and assaulted another man. The alleged victim claimed his attacker possibly had weapons on him.
When officers spoke to the caller on Dixon Mill Road, he refused to give them any further information and declined to make a police report.
Man Busted For DUI After 12th Street Crash
Three crashes in 12 minutes kept Portsmouth first responders busy on Wednesday morning.
The First crash happened at 11:33 am at 25th and Grandview. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Officers arranged for a tow for a damaged vehicle.
Five minutes later, witnesses called in another crash at 11th and Offnere. Medics checked a person for injuries, but they refused treatment. Officers arranged for a tow and for City Services to clean up the mess.
At 11:45 am, there was another crash, this time at 12th and Lincoln. Police took a man into custody for driving under the influence and impounded his vehicle.
