The rash of vehicle break-ins continues in the area and staff at one local business took action.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle break-in at Deadbolt Escape Rooms on Jefferson just before 11 p.m. The vehicle owner was visiting from out of town and wasn’t sure which to take next. Police took information for a report.
A Hutchins Street Caller contacted officers to report that someone broke into her vehicle overnight just before 6 a.m. Police took information for a report.
An hour later, a Willow Way caller reported a man breaking into her SUV. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
At 8 a.m., an Offnere Street business said they had a staff member chasing a man who broke into a vehicle on their property. Officers caught up with the man in the 1100 block of Offnere.
