Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman said Bryant would be transported back to Scioto County after a hearing.
Sciotoville Elementary Academy, the child’s school, issued this public statement earlier today. “It is with a heavy heart that I post this sad news. One of our first grade students passed away over the weekend. In the coming days, weeks, and months ahead, let’s please keep these members of our Tartan family in your thoughts and prayers! We have extra counselors available here at school if anyone needs them. Once information regarding services is available, we will share that information as we will be closing school on that day so that we all have time to grieve this loss. We appreciate all of your love, thoughts, and prayers during this most difficult time.”
Additional evidence will be presented to the Scioto County Grand Jury for consideration of additional charges.
