Some fed-up foster parents called Portsmouth Police to McDonald’s when a 5-year-old refused to behave.
The parents complained that the child kept getting out of her car seat. They said they had threatened the child with calling the police in the past, and they wanted to prove to her they were serious about it.
Experts advise against this tactic as it may make children afraid of police and hesitant to approach an officer in case of an emergency.
