Fugitive Found Hiding Under Porch – Arrested for 19th Time

Officers found a wanted man hiding under the porch of a Grandview Avenue home just after 1:30 pm. When officers tried to detain 30-year-old Aaron Armstrong on Robinson Avenue, he took off running. However, police found him hiding under a porch just a few minutes later.  

When officers pulled him out, he requested an ambulance. Once medics cleared, him officers took him to the Scioto County Jail. He was booked on an open warrant from Gallia County and for obstructing official business.  

Armstrong is no stranger to the Scioto County Jail, he’s been inside 19 times. Previous arrests include obstructing official business, probation violation, violating a protection order, aggravated menacing, falsification, probation violation, drug paraphernalia, domestic violence, aggravated burglary,criminal trespass, driving with a suspended license, carrying concealed weapons, breaking and entering, vandalism, and contributing to the delinquency of a child.  

Bail was set at $1500.
