A Chase That Ended in a Crash

As SCDN previously reported, McGlone’s arrest two months ago followed a dangerous encounter with law enforcement.

Investigators say officers attempted to stop McGlone on Lick Run Lyra Road, but he allegedly refused to pull over and instead sped away, sparking a short but reckless pursuit.

According to investigators, during the chase McGlone:

Only after the crash were officers able to take him into custody.

He was booked into the Scioto County Jail shortly after 3:30 p.m. that Saturday.

A Long List of Charges

At the time of his arrest, McGlone was already facing numerous charges, including:

Three Years on the Run

Authorities say McGlone had been the subject of active warrants for nearly three years before officers finally caught up with him.

Court records show a lengthy criminal history that includes prior cases involving weapons offenses, drug manufacturing, receiving stolen property, aggravated arson, domestic violence, child endangerment, falsification, and repeated driving under suspension.

What Happens Next

McGlone is scheduled to appear in Scioto County Common Pleas Court for a pretrial hearing on March 19.

As always, all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.

SCDN will continue following developments in the case.
