1 Grandparents Call Cops on Out-of-Control Grandkids
Some overwhelmed grandparents contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office just before 5:30 pm on Tuesday evening.
Dispatch could hear an altercation in the background and was told it was an altercation between the grandparents and their grandchildren. They were arguing over the children shooting a crossbow.
Deputies and CPS responded to the scene. Deputies took a man into custody. CPS chose to leave the children there for the night even though the grandmother stated multiple times that she did not want the grandchildren in her custody.
2 Man Chased on Kinneys Lane
Police responded to the SOMC Urgent Care on Kinneys lane after a man told officers he was chased by multiple people in a white pickup truck.
Officers noted the man had ongoing issues with another man that this seemed to be a part of. He told officers the man he had previous problems with jumped out of a truck with another man and acted as if they were about to jump him.
He ran away and contacted officers. Police told him to contact them if the man bothered him again. They also spoke to the other half of the altercation and advised him to leave the man alone.
