Habitual Sex Offender Under Arrest
A 36-year-old woman that authorities have labeled a ‘habitual sex offender’ is behind bars in the Scioto County Jail after officers took the registered sex offender into custody on a warrant for failing to provide her address to authorities properly.
Officers also charged her with possessing criminal tools. Jennifer Scott was arrested back in 2020 for a probation violation and in 2019 for receiving stolen property.
The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office had Scott listed as a non-compliant Tier-1 sex offender on their database of offenders in the area. She was convicted of third-degree sexual abuse in Oregon back in 2013.
Tier 1 sex offenders must register their address once a year for 15 years. Scott is currently held without bail in the Scioto County Jail.
