Harlan Donald Borders, Jr., 65, of Beaver, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born May 8, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harlan Donald Borders, Sr. and Rosemary Simons Borders. On August 1, 1983 he was united in marriage to Wanda Zeallear Borders who survives. Also surviving are his children, Nicole (Matthew) Francis of Piketon, Harley (Brandy) Borders of Piketon and Lenny (Ashley) Borders of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Cody Howard, Samantha Keller, Trevor (Jordan) Francis, Makaya Stillwell, Kailey Stillwell, AJ Stillwell, Dena Leatherwood, Dom Stillwell, Mackenzie Borders, Sophia Borders and Jayden Borders; great-grandchildren, Klaus Howard and Layla Francis; siblings, Vickie (Jim) Starr, Ed (Virgie) Borders and Ray (Angie) Borders; his bonus son, Louie Gorman; and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah Howard; great-grandchildren, Gunner and Peyton Howard; and a sister, Mary Borders.
Services are pending at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home help with funeral expenses.
