A suspicious vehicle call near Tracy Park ended with one man arrested and another person sent for help.
Portsmouth police responded around 2 p.m. after someone reported a suspicious vehicle parked near the park.
When officers checked it out, they discovered the driver, Brandon Cline, had open warrants for failure to appear and falsification.
Police took Cline into custody and arranged to have the vehicle towed and impounded.
A passenger in the vehicle asked officers for help. Police arranged for that person to go to a local rehab center for treatment.
Cline was booked into the Scioto County Jail on the warrants.
Court records show Cline was also arrested in June on charges of disorderly conduct and drug paraphernalia. He was also arrested on a disorderly conduct charge in March.
The charges are allegations. Cline is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
