Homeless Man Menaces Teen Girl
Deputies responded to McDermott Rushtown Road for a report of a man menacing a teenage girl who was home alone. The caller said the man was hanging near the front door and attempting to get into the home.
When officers arrived at the home, they discovered a confused homeless man who had apparently confused the girl for his daughter when he spotted her outside.
Deputies called for an ambulance to transport him to the hospital.
Street Sleepers Make Themselves at Home at Local Businesses
Officers continued to cope with the area’s homeless crisis. Just before 7 pm, employees at a local vet clinic reported three homeless individuals hanging around outside the business and asked officers to tell them to move along.
The three said they were waiting for a ride and agreed to move their property to a different location.
