Jimmy H. Charles, 76, of South Webster, passed away Wednesday February 12, 2025 at his residence. He was born June 30, 1948 in South Webster a son of the late Greeny and Carrie Blackburn Charles.
He formerly worked at H&H Retreading, loved hunting, gardening , farming , riding horses and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Jimmy is survived by sons, James (Tonya) Fisher of Lucasville, Michael (Andrea) Charles of South Webster, Johnathan (Shelby) Charles of Minford, Jacob Charles of Ashland, KY and Bill (Allison) Whitaker; daughters, Cindy (James) Sullivan of Lucasville, Lisa (John) Mollett of New Boston, Angie (Dave) Thompson of McDermott, Jennifer (Paul) Eliot of New Boston, Stephanie (Ricky) Walsh of Chillicothe, Brooklyn Charles and her boyfriend Buddy Blizzard of South Webster; 2 brothers, Ronnie Charles of Minford and Johnny (Linda) Charles of South Webster; 5 sisters, Fern Bokstael of Florida, Lucille Robinson of Wheelersburg, Bonnie (Eddie) Cornell of South Webster, Brenda (Gregory) Kinsall of Columbus , Nancy Gallagher of Columbus and Diane McCormick of Florida along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Charles, brothers Ray, Paul and Tommie Charles, sisters, Betty Baker, Magaleen Charles and Eileen Storts.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February, 15, 2025 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Brent Saxton officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 5 to 7 PM and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
