Kay Winebrenner 73

Kay Winebrenner

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, Kay Winebrenner once again demonstrated her faith, strength, and fearlessness in the face of the unknown by parting from this world to join her beloved husband and parents in heaven. Over her 73 years, Kay taught us the meaning of perseverance, the importance of lifelong learning, and what it means to love and be loved unconditionally. Her love, laughter, and passions – baking, reading, crafting, learning, and spending time with her favorite niece – will not be forgotten.

As we say goodbye to Kay, her closest family members will cherish their loving memories and be forever grateful that she shared her pumpkin roll recipe with all of us this past Christmas, ensuring we won’t have to fight over it! Kay would challenge us to hold our loved ones close, love unconditionally, and never shy away from learning something new. We love you so much, Kay, and will forever hold you in our hearts. Funeral services will be held 12:00 (Noon)

Saturday, November 2, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Acy Gibson officiating.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickFuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that donations be made in honor of Kay’s life and legacy to the Paul Penix Glenwood Scholarship Fund, c/o Scioto Foundation, P.O. Box 911, 303 Chillicothe Street, Portsmouth, OH 45662.
