Joseph Evans, 66, of South Shore, KY, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at U.C. Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. He was born in Newport, RI, on August 12, 1960, the son of Jackie Evans and the late James T. Evans.
He was a retired case manager for Shawnee Mental Health; he loved playing the piano and was a member of United Church of God in West Portsmouth, OH.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Melissa Walker Evans; seven children, Christy (Michael) Webster, Bo (Heidi) Evans, Jacob (Catherine) Evans, Brandon (Sarah) Riffe, Zachary (Jill) Riffe, Nick (Michaela) Riffe and Mackenzie (Isaiah) Tackett; one brother, Gregory (Linda) Evans; eleven grandchildren, Hannah, Conner, Harry, Daniel, Bradley, Hadley, Noah, Annalise, Addilynn, Callen and Teagan; his dogs, Sadie Sue and Mazie and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
At his request, there will be a private memorial service with the family.
