Portsmouth Police responded to a report of two juveniles dragging a large boat down the Street on 4th Street at 3:30 am. When officers caught up with the kids, they discovered they’d found a boat with multiple ladders and tools by the river and were trying to drag it home.
Police sent City Service to pick up the boat and other items. Officers then gave each of the kids a ride home to their parents. Police said they didn’t have any theft reports mentioning the boat or the other items.
