Deputies rescued children and dogs from a dangerous situation at a Wheelersburg home.
A woman called 9-1-1 to report her boyfriend destroyed her house and broke her dog’s leg. She said she was at work and wouldn’t be home until later.
When a deputy arrived on the scene, they discovered the dog had a gunshot wound and a broken leg.
Dispatch called for the Dog Warden and the Humane Agent.
Additionally, CPS ordered all children removed from the home on an emergency basis. Another dog was allowed to go with one of the children.
