Kimberly Lynn Sexton, 33, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, at St. Mary’s Medical Center Ironton Campus. Kim was born March 2, 1990, in Ironton, Ohio; a daughter to Randal Sexton of Ironton and Terry Taylor of Ironton and stepfather, Glen Stidham of Ironton.
Kim attended Ironton High School. She was a volunteer at City Welfare Mission in clothing distribution and attended the Ironton City Mission Church. Kim loved to listen to music, play video games, and spending time with her family. She was a fan of Ohio State and the Cincinnati Bengal’s football and loved Michael Jackson.
She was preceded in death by sister, Darlene Marie Clay, aunt, Tammy (Don) McGuire and uncle, Davie Taylor.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, April (James, II) Green, Rita McFannn, stepsister, Sherry Stidham, and Shelly Stidham, stepbrother, Andrew Akers. Her nieces and nephews, Nevaeh Bailey, Jasmine Bailey, Alex Bailey, Kalee Hall, Eithan Taylor, James Hall and great nephew, Ryden Taylor. and grandmother: Emma (Everett “Tom”) Sharp
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the City Mission Church, 710 North 5th Street, Ironton, Ohio, with Rev. Jim Lee Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Etna Cemetery, Pedro, OH. Pallbearers will be Scott Taylor, James Litton, Raymond May, Raymond May, J., Aaron Taylor, Chris Maynard, Alex Bailey, and Carl Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Amos Cremeans, David Dillon and Shawn Riggs. Visitation for family and friends will be 11:00 A.M. until time of the service at the church. Donations made be made to Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street, Ironton, Ohio 45638 to assist the family with the funeral expenses.
