Linda Kay (Pyles) Percell, 77, of Wheelersburg, OH, went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2025, at SOMC Hospice Center, surrounded by her loving family..

Born on September 13, 1948, at her home in Wheelersburg, she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Lorena Mae (Thompson) Pyles. She graduated from Wheelersburg High School in 1966.

Linda worked as a secretary at her dad’s construction company, USS Chemical Plant, former owner of Giovanni’s Pizza in Oak Hill, OH, sold Tennessee log homes, worked at Auxter Printing in Fremont, OH and former owner of Myrtle’s Cake and Candy in Sciotoville. She enjoyed baking cakes, making candy and finding antiques. She also loved spending time with her granddaughters and family

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Randall Ray Percell, a son: Jason Ray (Tara) Percell of Wheelersburg; three granddaughters: Lana Brooke (Elijah) Piatt of Ironton, Natalie Faith & Olivia Paige Percell, both of Wheelersburg.

She is also survived by her sister: Diana “Ruth” (Bill) Auxter of Fremont, OH; two brothers: Raymond Edward (Brenda) Pyles of Portsmouth and Rick Lee (Kerry) Pyles of Columbus and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Linda was a faithful member of Wheelersburg Church of the Nazarene and sang in the gospel group, The Glory Lighters, with her brothers.

Linda and Randy celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on September 23, 2025. We would like to give a special thanks to SOMC Hospice for their great care, Ann Frankle, Susan Stanley and Ashley Russell.

Funeral services will be held, Friday, October 3, 2025 at 1:00pm at Rubyville Community Church with Pastor Brian Baer and Pastor Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Friends and family may call one hour before the service on Friday, at the church. Interment to follow at Memorial Burial Park, Wheelersburg, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SOMC Hospice.
