Madisen Lauren Diaz, 22 years old, Columbus, Ohio resident, passed away peacefully, from an unexpected, acute, progressive diagnosis of Leukemia.
Madisen recently enlisted in the United States Navy and was scheduled to depart on April 27, 2022. She was a loving and caring person, that had the most healing hugs. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Madisen was a graduate of Clay High School & Scioto County JVS Criminal Justice program, 2017. She studied Business/Marketing at Shawnee State University and Columbus State Community College.
She joins her Father, Tony Diaz and her Mammaw, Sandy Southworth in Heaven.
She is survived by, her mother, Kristi Southworth of Portsmouth, two brothers, Aiden and Zane Ball of Portsmouth, three sisters, Kaleigh Otero of Arizona, Hope Diaz of Texas, and Bella Diaz of Franklin Furnace, Papaw, Randy Southworth of Portsmouth, Mamaw, Jody Diaz of Piketon, Papaw Pito, Felix (Raquel) Diaz of Piketon, Aunt FeFe, Felicia (Aaron Taylor) Diaz-Taylor of Piketon, and cousins Elena, Emie, and Boaz Taylor, all of Piketon, and many other family and friends.
Madison had a wonderful way of making everyone feel loved and special by her contagious smile and continuing compliments. She had a genuine spirit and will forever be missed by the numerous lives she touched.
Friends and family may gather on Monday, April 25, 2022, from 11:00 to 1:00 PM.
Funeral service immediately following at 1:00 PM, all at F.C. Daehler Mortuary, 915 Ninth Street, Portsmouth, Ohio.
Pastors Wayne Conley and John Howard of Vanguard Ministries in Piketon, will be officiating.
Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Military Honors from James Dickey Post#23.
