A frightened child called 9-1-1 at 8 pm to report her father was intoxicated and had been physical with her and her mother.
The child said the father was on probation and that she was headed to a friend’s house for safety. She said this was the first time in a long time the man had gotten physical.
When officers arrived on the scene, they took Steven Hunnicutt into custody on two counts of domestic violence and probation violation.
This was Hunnicutt’s 10th arrest. Previous arrests include multiple counts of domestic violence and probation violation, DUI, and obstructing official business.
