1. Man Reports Assault at McDonald’s
A man contacted officers at 9:30 pm on Friday evening to report that two subjects assaulted him at the McDonald’s on Gallia Street.
He told officers he would wait for them in the parking lot. However, by the time they arrived, he had left the area.
Just before 1 am, officers stopped a vehicle at the Taco Bell on Gallia and discovered a man with an open warrant from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office. Police took the man into custody.
2. Woman Busted For 13th Time on Waller Street
Officers arrested a woman with an open PPD warrant at a PHMA apartment on Waller Street just before 2 am on Saturday morning.
Police booked Kimberly Johnson, 49, on a charge of failure to appear. This was her 13th visit to the Scioto County Jail.
Previous charges include theft, falsification, contempt of court, and DUI..
3. Man Throws Trash At Cars on 9th Street
Witnesses reported a man throwing trash at vehicles in the area of 9th and Offnere Streets on Saturday evening.
When officers arrived on the scene, the man claimed he had not thrown any bottles at vehicles. He said he threw a plastic two-liter bottle onto the church parking lot.
Officers advised him to clean up his trash and leave the area. They warned him he could be arrested if he repeated the behavior.
