Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies get a lot of calls about scary situations that turn out to be a different kind of crisis.
Just after 7:30 am, a man told officers there was an armed biker gang in his home and that he had a crossbow out to defend himself.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found no one inside. They checked the man’s doorbell camera system, which showed no one had been in the house. Officers offered to call for a squad to check the man out, but he refused medical attention.
Police have been to the man’s house multiple times on similar calls.
