Just after 9 pm, a Wheelersburg man called 9-1-1 to report an assault. He said his intoxicated wife left their home in his vehicle and ran him over in the process. He said he hit his head and was bleeding.

The man told officers his wife was heading to Kentucky. Dispatch issued a BOLO for the vehicle. An ambulance responded to the scene to treat the man, and his wife returned home about half an hour later.
Police took Mary Toland into custody for domestic violence and booked her into the Scioto County Jail.
