Man Tasered Twice After Running from Cops
Police deployed a stun gun twice while trying to take an allegedly intoxicated man into custody just after 8 pm.
A woman contacted officers to report there was a drunk man in her home who was refusing to leave. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the man lived at the address, so they couldn’t make him leave.
However, the man became uncooperative, and officers were forced to deploy a Taser. That did not take him down, and he took off running towards Waller Street, where he was Tasered again at 16th and Waller.
Officers took the man into custody and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
The man’s name was withheld by law enforcement.
Woman Arrested after Fight at Hurth Apartments
Just after 6:30 am, police responded to a report of people fighting at the Hurth Apartments.
Officers learned there was a protection order in place involving a woman. Police took her into custody for violating the protection order and transported her to the Scioto County Jail for booking.
The woman’s name was withheld by law enforcement.
