Man Threatens to Shoot His Dog Before Surrendering it to the Dog Warden
Deputies were called in to assist the Dog Warden on Tuesday afternoon after she said there were problems with a couple she was attempting to issue a citation to.
There have recently been issues with the pair’s dog running loose on multiple occasions, but they refused to cooperate with the Dog Warden. The woman initially refused to sign the citation, and man threatened to shoot his own dog when they retrieved it.
Additionally, the man claimed to be good friends with a county commissioner and said he would make sure the Dog Warden was never on Stoney Run Road again.
Man Arrested After Pig Incident on Shirley Road
Loose pigs led to trouble for a man with an open warrant on Tuesday evening.
Just after 5 pm, an officer responded to a Shirley Road home to follow up on a report of loose pigs tearing up a neighbor’s property.
The investigation did not go over well with people on the scene who called dispatch to complain about the behavior of the deputy.
The deputy took a main into custody for an open warrant and issued a citation for allowing animals to run loose to the pigs’ owners.
