A man accompanied by a pit bull caused a ruckus in Wheelersburg. Just after 9 am, a caller reported an unresponsive man with a pit bull at the Quality Inn in Wheelersburg. The caller said they were afraid to approach the man.
However, the man left the area on foot before officers and EMS arrived. Police were called back to Wheelersburg when the man showed up with the dog on foot in the Taco Bell Drive-Thru.

Officers discovered the man had an open warrant for probation violation. They called the Scioto County Dog Warden to pick up the dog and took the man into custody.
