Portsmouth Police responded to multiple incidents of suspicious behavior over the weekend.
At 6:30 p.m., a caller reported a man slumped over the wheel of a scooter near the dumpster at the CVS on 11th Street. Officers issued a no-trespass order and advised the man not to return.
At 6:35 p.m., Kroger employees said a woman stole a large amount of fresh meat, then hopped in a Ford Escape with no rear tag and fled the scene. Police took information for a report.
Witnesses reported a man lying on the sidewalk in front of the Family Dollar on Gallia Street. Officers served the man with a no-trespass order and advised him not to return.
Just after 7:30 p.m., an officer responded to Dollar General for a report of a man trying to fight with store employees. Officers served the man with a no-trespass order.
Officers returned to the Dollar General after a man and woman kept coming into the store and harassing employees. They said the woman threw items at workers. Police trespassed both individuals.
