A chaotic 911 call just before midnight sent deputies rushing to Lewis Road, in Sciotoville, after a man told dispatchers someone was trying to kill him and claimed multiple people were hiding under a house.
According to law enforcement, the caller was difficult to understand and was known to have a history of mental health issues. Despite the confusion surrounding the call, deputies treated the report seriously and responded to the scene.
When officers arrived, the situation took a different turn.
Rather than finding an attacker hiding beneath the home, deputies ultimately took three people into custody, including the original caller. All three were booked into the Scioto County Jail on various charges.
