Missing Husband Found in Jail

The search for a missing husband ended in a surprising fashion not long after a man’s wife went looking for him.

Just before 6 a.m., a woman contacted police to report her husband missing. She said she dropped him off in Portsmouth over the weekend and hadn’t heard a word from him since.

She was concerned he might have relapsed or had been injured and wanted to file a missing person’s report.

Officers did a quick check and located Cedric Howard in the Scioto County Jail

Officers picked him up on an outstanding warrant for probation violation on Saturday night.

Howard had 13 previous arrests, the most recent for violating probation for a DUI back in February. Other arrests include obstructing official business, disorderly conduct, DUI, fugitive from justice, driving under a suspension, possession, probation violation, aggravated trafficking, and resisting arrest.
