Portsmouth Police assisted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office in locating a missing woman just after 8 a.m.
Offices said they believed the woman could be found in a known drug house on 7th Street. The woman had a history of drug abuse problems.
PPD located the woman and contacted her probation officer. The probation officer filed for a warrant, and the officer booked the formerly missing woman into the Scioto County Jail for probation violation.
