Naked Woman Reported on Center Street in Portsmouth
Police responded to Center Street after a caller reported a naked woman on their back steps just before 10:30 am.
Police transported the woman to another house on the street.
While the officer was leaving, they spotted a man and a woman arguing. The man said he wanted to file charges because the woman had smacked him.
The officer tried to speak to the woman who was walking away, but the man approached in what the officer perceived as an aggressive manner. When the officer ordered the man to back off, he did not comply, and the officer pointed a Taser at him.
The officer was able to calm the man down and resolve the issue without a police report.

At one point, the female got between the two and tried to block the officer’s efforts. Domestic calls are one of the most dangerous for officer safety.
