Residents of a sober living house on Grant Street say they are being targeted by an angry neighbor.
They say the neighbor keeps harassing them and even went so far as to paint “go overdose” on city property.
The manager of the facility said they would submit footage and file a police report.
Rehab Walkaways Toss Meds in Yards
Just after 11:33 am, a Gallia Pike resident reported finding a bag containing clothing and medication in their front yard.
Officers traced the meds to a local rehab center and went there to investigate. Employees told officers that two clients walked out on July 25th. Both patients lived in Columbus.
Deputies observed that the items in the bags were waterlogged and beginning to smell. They threw out the clothes and disposed of the medication at the Sheriff’s Office.
Trouble at the Taco Bell
Officers made an early run to the border at 7:47 am. Taco Bell employees reported there was a man in the lobby who refused to believe.
The caller said the man appeared to be high. Police contacted the drug response team to assist with the call and the man agreed to go to treatment.
