A woman called 911 to report that a child had gotten his hands on a bullet while playing outside at his mother’s, and the bullet blew up on the boy.

She said the mom took the boy to urgent care and then to SOMC and told them she’d follow their recommendation to take him to the hospital in Columbus, but she didn’t believe the mom would follow up. She also had questions as to how the child got his hands on the bullet.
Officers responded to the mother’s home and reported everything checked good at the home.
