Officers Investigate Dead Body At Woodbine Apartments
Just after 11:45 pm on Friday evening, Portsmouth Police received a call about a possible death at the Woodbine Apartments on Kendall Ave.
On their way to the scene, one officer broke off from the pack to pull over a vehicle that failed to yield for emergency vehicles.
Upon the arrival of EMS and PD units, it was shortly determined that one male was deceased in an apartment. The initial call was for a possible drug overdose, but there are many procedures that need to be enacted before that final determination can be made.
The Scioto County Coroner was contacted. Family members and friends began to call the police for information.
At this time, the death is still under investigation
