Medical personnel called officers to the hospital just before 5 am to check into a patient suffering from what they called “suspicious burns.”
Officers spoke with medics and then interviewed the patient, who told them where the incident had occurred. Since it happened outside the city, officers contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to continue the investigation.
