False Alarm

Kids Left In Car

A caller reported two small children alone in the back seat of a vehicle at the Dollar Tree just after 3 pm. Police stood by the car until the parents came out.

The mother told police her 8-year-old son had an autoimmune disease and was safer in the car.

The officer advised the parents that since there were two adults present, one could have stayed with the children.
