Ohio District 90 Representative Justin Pizzulli stopped by the Scioto County Commissioners meeting today. He is aiming to attend every trustee and commissioner meeting in his district at least once during the year.
Pizzulli, whose appointment to the office was mired in controversy, recently won the Republican primary and will face off against Democrat Kate Nunnelly this November.
“I hadn’t made it to Scioto County yet,” Pizzulli said. “It’s important that I get here and stay engaged. I’ve been fighting for us in Columbus and I’m looking forward to helping our beautiful county we call home here. Anything that I can ever do, I hope that you will let me know.”
Commissioner Bryan Davis thanked Pizzulli and said he looked forward to working with him in Columbus.
Pizzulli didn’t address any issues, he said that he was just there to listen and learn.
