Out of Control at the Super 8
Officers responded to a report of two men and two women yelling in the hallway at the Super 8 Motel on US 23 at 2:30 am. The caller said the dispute was over a set of keys.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they learned an altercation had occurred, and one person had a minor injury. They observed the parties involved were intoxicated.
No one wanted to file a police report, and the injured party refused medical attention. Officers stayed with one of the women involved while she collected her belongings and went back to her room.
About half an hour later, a woman called 911, screaming, “He won’t put his hands on me again.” The woman then hung up. Dispatch learned the call came from a phone that can only dial 911. Officers determined the call came from one of the people involved in the disturbance at the Super 8.
Deputies headed back to the hotel and gave the woman a ride to another address. No one was injured.
