It all started when a Brouse Street caller said a man with a gun had threatened to stab him and burn the Sugar Grove house down.

The man ran off before officers arrived, but not before making threats to harm himself. The resident said he didn’t want to press charges and that he would get a protection order issued.
The man returned around 9 pm and pulled a knife on the residents. Police learned the suspect had open warrants through PPD and the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
The man took off when officers arrived, but they managed to catch up with him and detained Tyler Farmer for a probation violation. He’s been arrested multiple times already this year for aggravated menacing.
