A woman contacted Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies about an ongoing problem with an aggressive dog menacing her children.
The Virginia Drive caller said she’d called the Scioto County Dog Warden for three straight days in a row about the neighbor’s pit bull attempting to bite her children when they get on the school bus.
She said the dog was in her yard now, and she was trapped in the house. However, the dog left before officers arrived at the Wheelersburg home.
They advised her to call the dog warden. The woman asked if she would be within her rights to destroy the dog if it attacked again. Officers told her she would be.
